Mind Matters MS 🧡
We are a youth-led organization based in Toronto, Ontario. Our mission is to educate communities and raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Our mission is to inspire compassion, promote understanding, and support those affected by MS through education, fundraising, and advocacy. Through our social media platforms, we aim to share informative content, personal stories, and interactive campaigns that spread awareness and connect people to reliable resources about MS.
Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord. This disease specifically attacks the myelin; a protective covering of the nerves, causing inflammation and often damaging the myelin sheath. As of right now, there is no specific cause to why MS infects the human body. Currently, Multiple Sclerosis is extremely prevalent in Canada, on average 12 Canadians are diagnosed with MS every day. Mind Matters MS is fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis research for the organization of MS Canada. Help support our cause and make a difference in the lives of those living with MS by donating, raising awareness, or getting involved in our events. Every action brings us one step closer to a world without MS.
